Op basis van artikel 5 in de Wegenverkeerswet kunnen mensen een forse boete krijgen als ze met deze bril op het verkeer hinderen of in gevaar brengen. Roekeloos rijgedrag is strafbaar, en dat is wat mensen doen die met zo’n bril op achter het stuur zitten.
Dat is best een snelle reactie vanuit een ministerie op nieuwe technologie…
In de gebruiksvoorwaarden van de Vision Pro geeft Apple aan dat de bril nooit gebruikt mag worden bij het besturen van een voertuig.

Never use Apple Vision Pro while operating a moving vehicle, bicycle, heavy machinery, or in any other situations requiring attention to safety. Using the device in low light conditions may increase the risk of collision with objects in your environment.
“Do not use it around […] windows” is dan wel weer een beetje erg voorzichtig, tenzij het een open raam is.
Maar niet op de fiets gebruiken kunnen ze beter schrappen voor de Nederlandse markt 
Even de Meta Quest health and safety warnings vergeleken. Onder Prohibited Use is ook duidelijk dat “driving” met een Quest niet toegstaan is:
Do not use in hazardous situations. Never use in hazardous physical world situations, where a task requires focused attention and high coordination or precision of movement, like running or driving. Do not use while handling dangerous objects or materials, like using a knife to chop food.
“knife to chop food” is dan ook wel weer specifiek (al komen er zat Quest-in-de-keuken-filmpjes langs)
