"Apple Vision Pro deployed for first medical procedure in UK"

Wish I could find a better source for this (eg, the hospital itself). It doesn’t sound like a lot of advanced MR, or even AVP-specific, features were being used, though:

A nurse working alongside the surgeon wore the device to help prepare, keep track of the cervical foraminotomy posterior procedure and choose the right tools.

The device allowed the nurse to see the real world while superimposing an augmented reality (AR) digital overlay that displayed information such as the patient’s vitals.

The developer of the eXeX software platform has a bit more info in a LinkedIn post:

The eXeX system allocates all equipment and surgical resources, for each and every surgery, with a progressive and accurate sequence, while providing a predictive optimization of surgical workflow forward.
